NAUI ASISTENT INSTRUCTOR
Brevetul de scufundari, NAUI Asistent Instructor reprezinta un nivel certificare NAUI - Leadership si este calificat pentru a asista un Instructor N.A.U.I. - activ, in cadrul cursurilor de scufundare pe care acesta le conduce.
Conditii participare la cursul de scufundari NAUI Asistent Instructor:
- sa detina brevetul de scufundari NAUI Master Scuba Diver si NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver;
- sa aiba finalizat NAUI FIT Program;
- sa detina certificatul NAUI First Aid ori echivalent;
- sa detina certificatul NAUI Oxygen sau echivalent;
- varsta minima de participare 18 ani;
- apt din punct de vedere fizic, psihic si medical pentru a desfasura activitati de scufundari (fisa medicala);
- sa aiba logate minim 50 scufundari (minim 25 hours bottom time) in conditii variate, adancime si activitati.
Cursul de scufundari, NAUI Asistent Instructor iti ofera multe informatii si noi cunostinte despre organizarea si conducerea scufundarilor, verificarea echipamentului si a flotabilitatii, tehnicile de insotire ale cursantului si metode de predare si prezentare. Acest curs este recomandat celor ce doresc sa urmeze cariera de instructor
Este necesara achizitionarea manualelor. Solicita oferta de pret pentru manuale.
Cerinte (siguranta in scufundari):
- cunosterea acordarii primului ajutor (resuscitare cardio-pulmonara);
- salvare usoara;
- proceduri de urgenta;
- identificarea semnelor de pericol si recunoasterea preventiva a unui scafandru cu probleme (probleme de respiratie, miscari spasmodice etc.);
- verificarea echipamentului elevilor inainte de scufundare;
- verificarea flotabilitatii elevilor si identificarea problemelor legate de flotabilitate;
- controlul, insotirea si asistenta elevilor sub apa;
- navigatie subacvatica;
- tehnici de predare si evaluare a elevului.
Aplicatie practica:
- studiu individual / pregatire teoretica 7 ore;
- numar minim de scufundari in ape deschise 2;
- adancimea maxima pentru scufundari in ape deschise pe durata cursului este de 40 metri.

Diving Safety
Review of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Diving rescue.
Emergency procedures and systems access
Common student danger signals and early problem recognition; the significance of such warning signs as rapid breathing, jerky movements, wide-open eyes, etc.
Open water skills application for the assistant instructor detailing:
– Pre-dive equipment checks.
– Buoyancy checks, recognizing over-weighting.
– Instructor/assistant coordination.
– In-water student control, escorting and assistance.
NAUI Orientation.
Methods of Instruction (Teaching techniques and student evaluation)
- Teaching theory.
- Oral communications.
Teaching Presentations: Classroom
- Each candidate is to present at least four assigned teaching presentations selected from the list of the 10 core diving knowledge topics. Each presentation is to be formally evaluated, but not graded
for record. Presentations are to be 5 to 10 minutes in length.
Teaching Presentations: Confined Water
- Each candidate is to present at least two confined water skin diving presentations.
- Each candidate is to present at least two confined water scuba presentations.
- Each presentation is to be formally evaluated, but not graded for record.
Business of Diving Instruction
- Legal aspects of instruction, including such concepts as negligence, standard of care, liability, and waivers and indemnity agreements.
NAUI ASISTENT INSTRUCTOR
REQUIREMENTS – SKILLS
Assisting (confined and open water). Wearing full scuba equipment appropriate for the area.
- Pre-dive equipment checks for diver(s) simulating basic students.
- Place and recover a flag, float and ascent line in the dive area for use in a qualification dive.
- Escort of a diver simulating a basic student from the beach or boat to the dive area, performing a buoyancy check enroute.
- Escort of a diver simulating a basic student with difficulties from the dive area to the beach or boat and exiting with proper standard of care.
- Escort of two divers simulating basic students on an underwater tour while demonstrating proper positioning, control and management.
- Assists for a diver in open water simulating each: panic, cramps, and breathing difficulties.
